本机器是电机定子焊接专用液压机，适用于电机定子自动氩弧焊接。具有电机定子自动定位涨紧、叠片自动压紧和自动氩弧焊接等功能。
本机具有独立的压紧滑块和焊接滑块及定位涨紧油缸，焊接滑块具有独立的液压系统，焊接滑块不受其他油缸的工作而影响其运动速度，所以焊缝美观、保证质量的稳定性大大提高；焊接速度可按工艺要求进行调整，定位涨紧油缸的下行速度可调；压紧力、涨紧力和焊接油缸的上下移动力均可分别调整。
液压系统采用滑阀和叠加阀系统，调试维修方便简单，使用性能可靠；电器控制系统采用PLC可编程控制器控制，工作可靠，改变工艺方便灵活。
具有点动、手动和自动等操作方式，压力可在2～25MPa内任意调节，行程则通过行程开关任意调节，操作简便、灵活、安全可靠.
